Living in Brandenburg
Brandenburg is the fifth largest federal state in Germany in terms of area, but has only 2.3 million inhabitants. The country offers many opportunities for development. Away from the capital region, Brandenburg’s structure is often characterized by small towns and villages. Family friendly
In Brandenburg, it is standard for children to attend a daycare center from the age of one at the latest. This not only enables good socialization, but also creates developmental space for the parents.
School places are available for pupils of all year groups. The state government strives to constantly optimize the quality of the education system. The proportion of pupils who obtained a higher education entrance qualification at the end of their schooling was almost 47% in 2021.
